Overview

Richard Yaffe, K.C. is a business law partner at Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP in Winnipeg. He practises in securities law and corporate and commercial transactions, with a particular focus on the strategic use of Manitoba limited partnerships. His work includes transactions and financings for international private equity and investment funds, agency counsel matters for Manitoba and Saskatchewan securities offerings, and legal opinions confirming compliance with provincial law. Richard also advises public companies on securities law, governance, and ongoing compliance.
