Sven is Chair of Osler’s Employment and Labour group. He has significant experience in all areas of employment and labour law. He advises national and international companies on legal and strategic HR issues, including executive employment arrangements, corporate transactions, individual terminations, facility closures, workforce reorganizations, insolvencies and restructurings.

Sven regularly advises a wide range of private and broader public sector clients on labour and employment compliance issues, outsourcings and program and service integrations. Sven has significant experience in collective bargaining matters, including union successorship issues and strategies. He regularly represents clients in judicial and administrative proceedings, with a focus on human rights, rights and interest arbitrations, mediations, workers’ compensation, employment standards, occupational health & safety, collective bargaining and wrongful dismissals.
