Overview

Scott Wilson is the Managing Partner of Dentons Canada's Vancouver office and a member of the Firm's National Management Committee. He is also a partner in the Real Estate group, with a practice focused on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, financings, dispositions, leasing, marketing and project sales. He has extensive experience working with clients throughout all stages of real estate development. In addition, Scott's experience extends to major corporate commercial transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, reorganizations and energy and infrastructure projects.
Scott's local, national and international clients include esteemed real estate developers of commercial, industrial, residential and mixed-use projects throughout British Columbia, as well as pension funds, institutional lenders and private lenders.
Scott was born and raised in British Columbia's Lower Mainland and is extremely familiar with how the region operates, as well as with the people who live and work there. Known for his pragmatic approach to handling time-sensitive and complex matters, he is highly regarded by his clients, who describe him as having a "deep understanding of both real estate law and the industry at large, and always [providing] prudent and practical advice" (Chambers Canada 2024).
