Known for his advice in complex commercial disputes, including class actions, Samuel Lepage delivers decisive advocacy in high‑stakes matters, helping clients manage risk, protect reputation, and achieve outcomes aligned with their business objectives.
Samuel Lepage is a Partner in the Firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Group in Montréal. He advises leading Canadian and global companies in high-stakes disputes, particularly complex commercial, real estate, private wealth disputes, including estates and trusts, cross-border and class action matters where strategic judgment is critical.
He has significant experience in class actions in the area of product liability, environmental nuisance, antitrust and privacy. He regularly defends manufacturers in pharmaceutical and consumer product matters, and acts in class actions involving Consumer Protection Act claims. Prior to joining McCarthy Tétrault, he practiced litigation at a boutique law firm specializing in class actions, acting primarily for plaintiffs, giving him a strong understanding of plaintiff-side strategy and how class proceedings typically unfold.
