Overview

Robert de Guzman, KC (He/Him/His) is a partner in the Edmonton office, co-leader of the national Banking and Finance group, and a member of the Dentons Canada Region Board, where he plays a significant role in the strategic direction of the Firm.
His practice includes a focus on both financing and general corporate/commercial matters, assisting both lenders and borrowers with financing transactions that allow businesses to obtain funds necessary to meet their goals and objectives. Robert has a particular interest in supporting companies that service Northern Alberta's rich resource-based industries and contribute to building healthy and sustainable local communities, striking a balance between the global and local development of business in Alberta.
