Overview

Michael Beard is a partner in the Corporate group in Dentons' Edmonton office. He advises clients on a broad range of corporate commercial matters, including corporate governance and transactional matters. He also assists clients with the negotiation and drafting of various commercial agreements, including unanimous shareholder agreements, service agreements and licensing agreements.
Within his practice, Michael focuses on mergers and acquisitions, navigating through reorganizations, share subscriptions and share and asset purchase transactions (including in the life sciences sector).
Additionally, Michael's practice extends to technology and life sciences, providing guidance to clients on various technology-related and intellectual property issues. He assists dental and medical professionals with their legal needs, including the purchase and sale of dental and medical practices.
