Overview
Michael Ball is a partner in the Corporate Group, where he advises private equity clients as well as public and private companies on complex domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. His practice focuses on sponsor-led and strategic M&A across a broad range of industries, including financial services, technology, industrials, aerospace and defence. He also advises private equity, venture capital and strategic investors on control and minority investments and other strategic transactions.
In 2020, Michael worked in Stikeman Elliott's London office, where he represented the firm's Canadian and international clients on matters across multiple jurisdictions. Prior to joining the firm, and for several years as an associate, he served as a reserve officer in the Royal Canadian Navy.
