Acted as Canadian counsel to an affiliate of Lone Star Funds, in its acquisition of Alliance Ground International, a leading North American provider of airport ground handling and cargo services.
Acted for Novacap Management Inc., a leading North American private equity firm, on closing its US$3.8 billion Novacap Technologies VII, its largest technology buyout fund.
Acted for the shareholders of Labsurface, a specialty epoxy coatings provider for commercial, industrial, and laboratory flooring, in the sale of a minority interest to Idealist Capital.
Acted for Hypixel, a Canadian video game studio, in the global launch of Hytale, a sandbox role-playing game, advising on intellectual property, commercial agreements, digital distribution, online services, and regulatory compliance.
Acting as lead tax counsel to La Caisse in the C$2.2-billion sale of Metro Supply Chain to Nippon Express Holdings Inc., a global logistics group headquartered in Japan.
