Overview

Jim Rossiter is a trusted senior transactional lawyer who for over 25 years has led many high profile acquisitions, divestitures and financings in the US and Canada. Prior to joining Dentons, Jim was Global Sports Lead of another major global law firm. Jim is Chair of the Dentons Global Sports Group.
Jim has led the acquisition and financing of numerous major league pro sports teams and stadiums and arenas across the US and Canada including in Dallas, St Louis, Los Angeles, Denver, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Toronto, Edmonton, Ottawa and Montreal.
He has also led the acquisition of hotels, office towers, a global aviation logistics business, a leading manufacturer and distributor of plastics and paper products, a major airline catering company, and a leading global cosmetics company. He typically represents owners of professional sports teams, US-based multinationals, hedge funds, and various US and Canadian banks.
Jim has been recognized by his clients, including private investors and institutional and boutique investment banks alike, and including both publicly in leading legal publications and privately, as a lawyer who excels at leading and closing complex transactions.
