Jaclyn acts for a diverse range of clients. Her commercial litigation practice services major multi-national corporations, natural resource companies, transportation companies, manufacturers, developers, and e-commerce companies with claims arising in contract, professional negligence, consumer protection, and competition. In her construction practice, she has acted for owners, general contractors, and subcontractors on projects in both the public and private sphere on a variety of disputes including negligence claims, delay claims, construction defects, and builders' liens.
Regardless of the type of dispute, Jaclyn's approach is to identify and execute practical and efficient strategies to help her clients achieve success on their terms. She is a trusted advisor to her clients both inside and outside the courtroom. She has significant experience providing commercial advice to clients on dispute avoidance and risk mitigation to ensure clients can focus on their business. She also advocates for her clients through negotiated resolutions, alternative dispute resolution mechanisms including mediation and arbitration, and has appeared before the British Columbia Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal
