Overview

Christopher Ross is a Tax Partner in Fasken's Vancouver and Calgary offices. He advises clients on the tax dimensions of mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, financings and other business transactions. His related work connects tax advice with corporate and commercial matters across sectors that include mining, technology, media and telecommunications, as well as emerging technology and venture capital. Christopher participates actively in Canada's tax community through speaking, writing and committee work. He is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and the International Fiscal Association, and he belongs to the Canadian Bar Association's British Columbia branch and the Law Society of British Columbia. He has also served with the Canadian Tax Foundation's young practitioners and British Columbia conference committees. Christopher completed the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course and holds a JD and a BA in Sociology from the University of British Columbia. He was admitted in British Columbia in 2017.
