Overview

Carly Caruso is counsel in the Real Estate Group at Goodmans in Toronto. Her practice focuses on structured commercial real estate transactions, including complex leasing arrangements, institutional and infrastructure-related assets, real estate private equity, joint ventures and the real estate components of significant corporate transactions. Carly advises institutional investors and other market participants, including pension funds, real estate investment trusts, developers, lenders, universities and airport operators. Her work covers acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development and leasing across a broad range of assets. She also advises on development and infrastructure projects, joint ventures, co-ownership arrangements, portfolio and asset-level financings, and commercial leasing for institutional and owner-operator clients. Her matters often require coordination among real estate, corporate, financing and operational teams, particularly for long-term strategic assets and specialized operating environments.
