Overview

Barbara Farina is a Montréal partner at KRB and interim co-head of its M&A, Corporate and Commercial Group. She advises lenders, sponsors and corporate borrowers on domestic and cross-border acquisition financings, syndicated and bilateral credit facilities, asset-based and secured lending, project and real estate financing, and leasing. Her financing work spans financial institutions, transportation, natural resources, real estate, infrastructure and manufacturing. Barbara also represents purchasers and sellers in complex mergers and acquisitions, coordinating with management teams, financial advisers and other stakeholders. Her combined secured-lending and transactional experience supports mandates across the lifecycle of corporate transactions. She has more than 25 years of practice and was called to the Quebec Bar in 1998 after earning her LLB from the Université de Montréal.
