Overview

Allison K. Ostapowich is counsel in the Edmonton office of MLT Aikins and practises commercial real estate and banking law. She advises on acquisitions and dispositions of businesses and real property, commercial leasing, and financing for borrowers and lenders. Her real estate work includes multi-tenant complexes, industrial and agricultural properties, commercial financing and leasing. In her banking practice, Allison structures, negotiates and prepares financing agreements and security for routine and complex arrangements, including cross-border syndicated transactions. She has represented real estate developers, banks, institutional clients, relocation companies, insurance companies, pension funds, government bodies and private lenders. Allison was called to the Alberta Bar in 2004 after earning her LLB from the University of Alberta. Her current firm profile also identifies her memberships in the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Alberta.
