Overview

Zachary Masoud is a partner in Miller Thomson's Financial Services and Projects groups in Toronto. His practice covers domestic, cross-border and multijurisdictional banking matters and secured and unsecured lending transactions. He advises on acquisition financing, project finance, mining finance, fund finance, syndicated and bilateral facilities and mezzanine financing. Zachary regularly represents Canadian and foreign banks, private equity firms, corporations, sponsors, lenders and project developers. He also works on project development and commercial arrangements for energy, mining and infrastructure projects in Canada, the United States, South America and Africa, providing practical advice tailored to the client's transaction and project. Zachary joined Miller Thomson in 2025 after serving as a partner in the financial services and projects groups of another national firm. He was admitted to the Ontario bar in 2015, studied law at McGill University and has taught in Osgoode's Professional LLM in Energy and Infrastructure Law program.
