W. Brad Hanna is a Partner at McMillan LLP and a leader of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Franchising & Distribution groups. His practice focuses on complex corporate commercial litigation involving franchising and distribution, manufacturing, and automotive matters. He represents foreign and domestic manufacturers, distributors, franchisees, and other companies in disputes involving termination of commercial relationships, breach of contract, bad faith, fraud, misrepresentation, intellectual property infringement, non-compete and confidentiality covenants, licensing, competition law, class actions, patents, internet-related disputes, cybersquatting, defamation, corporate fraud, and environmental claims. He also acts as counsel in private and court-annexed mediations, domestic and international commercial arbitrations, and National Automobile Dealer Arbitration Program proceedings, and is a Fellow and executive committee member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. His representative matters include disputes and proceedings for clients in the sports, cannabis, brewing, automotive, pharmaceutical, casino, and grocery sectors, including matters involving human rights, licence agreements, dealer termination, corporate fraud, patent evergreening, franchise termination, and intellectual property.
