Overview

Shane Hardy is a partner in Gowling WLG's Toronto office and a member of its Intellectual Property group. He advises global brand owners on acquiring, licensing and protecting intellectual property assets, including international portfolio acquisitions, licensing transactions and brand expansion initiatives. As a registered trademark agent, he works across clearance, filing, portfolio management, enforcement and dispute resolution. Shane also advises technology, manufacturing, retail and entertainment businesses on digital enforcement, regulatory compliance and intellectual property risk, and has appeared before all levels of court in Canada.
