ROVENA HAJDËRI is a passionate and tireless advocate for her clients, with extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution, frequently in a multicultural setting. An effective communicator, Rovena leads with a client service mindset, handling all aspects of civil litigation, from drafting pleadings to trial. Rovena has acted both as lead and co-counsel at trial and has argued various summary judgment motions and applications. Rovena has also made successful submissions to the Ontario Court of Appeal. Rovena practices litigation in a broad spectrum of claims, including personal injury, product liability, property damage, and professional negligence. She also practices in the areas of condominium law, defamation, wrongful dismissal litigation, and human rights applications. Rovena is fluent in French, Italian, English, and Albanian. She has worked with national and international organizations in the areas of judicial reform and white-collar crime investigation, including the American Bar Association, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the United Nations, and Amnesty International. Rovena has also gained experience in conflict resolution in Austria, Italy, and The Netherlands. A passionate educator, Rovena helped develop, and also taught, the common law course ‘Legal Writing and Reasoning in a Civil Law Jurisdiction,’ at the Albanian School of Magistrates.
