Overview

(Ricco) A.S. Bhasin is a partner in Osler's Corporate department and co-chair of the Financial Institution Transactions practice. He advises private equity sponsors, pension funds, financial institutions, governments and general corporates on corporate, M&A, governance, partnership and joint venture matters, with particular experience in financial services, infrastructure and technology. His work includes public and private M&A, leveraged buyouts, take-private transactions, minority and fund investments, secondary-market transactions and strategic acquisitions. Ricco also advises on securities-law compliance, proxy and activist matters, and sensitive board issues. He regularly supports Canada/U.S. cross-border and other international transactions and is called to the bars of Ontario and New York. He holds a JD from Queen's University and a BBA from York University's Schulich School of Business.
