Overview

Rajeev (Raj) Dewan is a partner in DLA Piper's Toronto office and a corporate lawyer with a capital markets and cross-border practice. He acts for emerging growth companies and entrepreneurs in high-growth sectors including eSports, fintech, healthcare, mining and technology, often assisting with transaction structuring and capital deployment. Raj structures, negotiates and executes cross-border transactions and international listings between North America, Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. He advises family offices and emerging growth companies based in Asia and the Middle East on joint ventures, liquidity strategies and mergers and acquisitions in North America. Raj is a recent appointee to the TSX Venture Exchange's Listing Advisory Committee and previously served on the Ontario Securities Commission's Small and Medium Enterprises Committee. He is a charter member of the Toronto chapter of TiE Global.
