Nina’s lender and borrower clients benefit from the broad range of her work advising on a variety of Canadian and cross-border debt financings across many sectors and industries.
Extendicare in its C$414.5 million acquisition financing to fund its acquisition of CBI Home Health, including a C$60 million increase in its existing revolving credit facility, a C$204.5 million increase in its existing delayed draw term facility and a new C$150 million equity bridge facility
Superior Plus in its C$500 million cross-border private placement of 4.25% senior unsecured notes in Canada and the United States
Superior Plus LP in its C$220 million private placement of 5.125% senior unsecured notes and the redemption in full of its C$200 million 6.50% senior unsecured debentures due December 9, 2021
Before joining Torys, Nina was a tutorial instructor at the University of Ottawa's Faculty of Law. She was also a research assistant at the University of Toronto's Faculty of History and Faculty of Bioethics.
