Overview

Louis J. Zivot is Senior Counsel in Akin's New York office and focuses his practice on tax matters. Before joining Akin, he was a tax consultant in the mergers and acquisitions group at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in New York. Louis received a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia, a Juris Doctor from the Southern Methodist University School of Law and an LL.M. in taxation from New York University School of Law. At NYU, he was a graduate editor of the Journal of International Law and Politics.
