Overview

Lindsay E. Dykstra is a partner in Cassels' Intellectual Property and Entertainment & Sports Groups in Toronto. Her practice focuses on corporate, commercial and intellectual property matters, with extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions involving entertainment, media, sports and technology. She regularly represents music artists, athletes, studios, publishers and other organizations on matters including music catalogue sales, music publishing, recording and touring agreements, sponsorship and endorsement arrangements, and film and television production and financing. Lindsay is recognized by Legal500 Canada for media and entertainment law and frequently speaks on entertainment and intellectual property issues. She serves on the program advisory committee for Humber Polytechnic's Music Business program. Lindsay earned a J.D. and B.Com. (Hons.) from the University of British Columbia and is admitted in Ontario.
