Overview

Lindsay Burgess is an associate in Osler's Disputes Group in Vancouver. She maintains a general litigation practice focused on complex commercial, environmental and regulatory matters. Her experience includes business and shareholder disputes, class actions, construction claims, fraud matters, injunctions, professional regulation and securities disputes. Lindsay has appeared as counsel before every level of court in British Columbia and has handled witnesses and evidence at trial. Before entering law, she worked as a senior associate at a public accounting firm, advising clients on strategic business matters. She remains a CPA and CMA and applies that accounting background when analyzing complex facts and developing practical litigation strategies. Lindsay earned her JD with distinction from the University of Alberta in 2015 and was admitted to the British Columbia bar in 2016. Her practice also serves clients in mining, transportation, real estate development, media and professional services.
