Liezl is a partner in our Business Law and Financial Services groups in Vancouver. Her practice is primarily focused in the areas of project finance, infrastructure, renewable energy and secured lending. She also has experience with refinancings and other secondary market transactions in respect of completed projects.

Liezl has broad experience representing a wide variety of clients, covering all principal parties on projects (including borrowers, equity investors, sponsors and lenders) on numerous complex project finance transactions. She regularly advises developers and lenders in connection with developing and financing renewable energy projects and all areas of infrastructure. Liezl also has extensive experience in corporate banking transactions and advises lenders and borrowers in transactions including bank credit facilities and bond financings.

Liezl received a B.Comm (Honours) with a focus on Finance from the University of British Columbia in 2010 and her JD from the University of Toronto in 2013. Liezl was called to the Ontario Bar and the British Columbia Bar in 2014 and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Vancouver Bar Association, the Law Society of British Columbia and the Law Society of Ontario.
