Julianne Gu is a Partner in our Real Property & Planning Group in Toronto. She maintains a broad commercial real property practice, and has extensive experience in joint venture projects (including limited partnership and co-ownership arrangements), real estate private equity fund formation (including marketing, promotion and structuring), acquisitions and dispositions (single property and portfolio transactions), and bilateral and syndicated financing.

Julianne’s clients value her depth of knowledge on commercial real property matters and her ability to navigate complex negotiations and provide strategic and practical advice to her clients. She regularly represents pension funds, owners, institutional asset managers, private equity funds, developers, and domestic and international financial institutions.

In addition to Julianne’s real estate practice, she also advises on infrastructure, energy, and project development matters, including on acquisition of land tenure for both private and Crown lands, and on secured lending and project financing transactions.
