Overview

James W. Reid is a partner and leader of Miller Thomson's Restructuring and Insolvency group in Calgary. He advises clients on corporate restructurings, insolvency statutes, arrangements, workouts, receiverships, bankruptcies, security reviews and enforcement proceedings. He represents debtor companies, secured and unsecured creditors, sponsors, purchasers and court officers in domestic and cross-border cases, and has appeared before Alberta courts and the Supreme Court of Canada.
