Overview

Hilary Henley's practice at McLean & Armstrong LLP focuses on construction and infrastructure. She advises owners, contractors and consultants on construction and infrastructure projects, from contract drafting through dispute resolution. Her experience includes major transportation and wastewater P3 developments and complex multi-party disputes involving commercial and residential developments. She advises on contractual interpretation, risk management, claims strategy and dispute resolution, and represents clients in claims involving delays, disruption, defects, breaches of contract and negligence. Hilary also supports clients under British Columbia's Builders Lien Act, including lien filing and enforcement, lien cancellation applications and negotiated lien discharges. She is called to the bar in both British Columbia and Ontario and has experience with mediations, settlement negotiations, examinations for discovery and court appearances before the British Columbia Supreme Court and Small Claims Court.
