Craig is a leading tax lawyer with broad experience in M&A and financing transactions, particularly in the energy, resources and private equity industries.

Craig brings extensive experience advising on the tax aspects of domestic and international M&A and financing transactions, with a focus on the energy and resources sectors. His work includes advising clients in traditional oil and gas, mining, oil sands projects and in the midstream sector. Craig also advises clients in clean energy transition including structuring and financings which rely upon refundable investment tax credits. Clients also regularly seek his advice on the tax implications of inbound and outbound private equity investment.

StormFisher Hydrogen in its acquisition of Recyclage Carbone Varennes and of a C$1.6 billion waste-to-methanol project in Varennes, Québec pursuant to a reverse vesting order structure, as part of the Varennes Cellulosic Ethanol LP’s restructuring under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act, and in the financing to complete the construction and transformation of the project into North America's first large-scale low-carbon methanol plant
