Cameron's practice focuses primarily on banking, debt financing, commercial lending and related transactions. He has experience acting on secured and unsecured debt financing transactions, syndicated and bilateral loan transactions, project financings, acquisition financings, cross-border financings, asset-based lending transactions, corporate reorganizations and private placements.

Cameron acts regularly on behalf of both financial institutions and corporations in respect of a variety of debt financing transactions. He works primarily in the energy, renewable power, oil and gas, and related services industries.

Recent representative matters include acting as lead counsel or as part of the Blakes Financial Services group for:

Capstone Infrastructure Corporation and certain of its subsidiaries on various credit arrangements, including:

C$220-million corporate revolving credit facility provided to Capstone Power Corp.

C$65-million project financing with ATB Financial, as lender, in respect of its 68 MW Buffalo Atlee Wind Project in Special Areas Board No. 2, Alberta

C$96-million project financing for SWNS Wind LP in connection with the acquisition of four wind farms totaling 29 MW in Ontario

C$95-million project refinancing for Helios Solar Star A-1 LP in respect of its 20 MW Amherstburg solar power facilities by way of term debt in the amount of C$121-million
