Overview

Ben Rogers is a partner in Blakes' Calgary office and co-leader of the firm's national Energy - Oil & Gas group. He advises energy companies on commercial matters in Canada and internationally, including acquisitions and divestitures, mergers and acquisitions, joint venture structures, midstream matters, project development and day-to-day oil and gas operations. He also advises on conventional and non-conventional oil and gas development and East Coast offshore matters. Ben has taught oil and gas law and is a past director and president of the Canadian Energy Law Foundation.
