With deep knowledge of the technical aspects of corporate tax, Andrew has a track record of representing clients on complex transactions.
With a focus on corporate taxation, Andrew advises clients across a broad range of matters including domestic and international tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, capital markets transactions and innovative financing structures. He has advised on a number of Canadian and cross-border acquisitions and reorganizations as well as on the structuring and issuance of various financial instruments and other capital markets activity.
In addition to his principal emphasis on planning and transaction work, Andrew has also represented taxpayers in disputes with the Canada Revenue Agency and the Ontario Ministry of Finance.
