Overview

Raphael T. Eghan is a Toronto partner in Dentons' Litigation and Dispute Resolution group and co-leads its Securities Litigation subgroup. His practice covers complex corporate and commercial disputes, with particular experience in securities, banking and shareholder matters, investigations and capital-markets regulatory proceedings. Raphael has appeared before courts and tribunals across Canada, including every level of court in Ontario, the Ontario Securities Commission, the British Columbia Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada. Before joining Dentons, he practised at another national firm, worked as a prosecutor in the Ontario Securities Commission's Enforcement Branch and served as senior litigation counsel at a major bank. That combination of private-practice, regulatory and in-house experience informs his advice to clients facing enforcement and commercial disputes. Raphael was admitted in Ontario in 2010 and serves on the Ontario Securities Commission's Securities Proceedings Advisory Committee.
