Overview

Madelaine advises a number of leading financial institutions and borrowers on loan arrangements ranging in value from $1M to $20M+. Madelaine conducts searches and prepares all documentation including mortgages, guarantees and general security agreements, and any associated registrations.

Her corporate practice includes preparing and executing detailed corporate reorganizations, including drafting resolutions, transferring shares and creating family trusts. She also advises on incorporations, preparing shareholder agreement and asset and share purchases and sales. Madelaine also acts for commercial and residential real estate developers on purchases, sales, financings, leasing, and property development.

Madelaine serves on the Board of Directors of the Foundation for Prader-Willi Research Canada. On evenings and weekend, Madelaine can be found enjoying time with her young family.
