Kai advises public and private companies and private equity sponsors on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments and other complex strategic transactions. He also advises clients on corporate governance, general corporate and securities law matters.

Prior to joining the firm in 2017, Kai practiced in the mergers and acquisitions group at a leading international law firm in New York. He earned his J.D. degree from the University of Toronto, where he graduated with honours.
