Overview
Corinne Grigoriu is a Calgary partner in McCarthy Tétrault's National Tax Group. She advises on the tax aspects of complex domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private-equity investments, inbound and outbound investment and financing, and corporate reorganizations and restructurings. Her sector experience includes oil and gas, mining, renewable energy, and technology. Corinne also works with Indigenous groups on developing, implementing, and financing partnerships, structuring economic-development activities and governance, and facilitating Indigenous equity participation in energy projects. She is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation, the International Fiscal Association, and the Canadian Petroleum Tax Society. Corinne frequently presents and writes about tax law and contributed a chapter to The Law of Indigenous Ownership and Projects.
