Overview

Arlene Mack is a partner in Fasken's Banking and Finance group in Toronto. Her practice spans banking, finance, securities, capital markets, securitization, and structured finance. She regularly advises financial institutions, corporate issuers, securitization conduits, underwriters, and investment banks on transactions involving asset classes such as credit-card receivables, consumer and automotive loans, lease receivables, dealer floorplan receivables, and trade receivables. Arlene also advises on public and private debt and equity offerings, including bank regulatory capital matters. Her broader corporate finance experience includes private placements, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and emerging-company and venture-capital financings. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2012. Arlene holds a joint JD and MBA from Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business, and previously worked as an information-technology professional before entering legal practice.
