Overview

Aislinn is a partner in Osler’s Disputes practice. Aislinn advocates on behalf of hospitals and other health care clients in a wide range of disputes and proceedings, including civil actions, administrative and human rights matters, regulatory proceedings and Coroner’s Inquests.
She has been counsel to hospitals in several precedent-setting hospital privileges matters, and has argued at all levels of court in Ontario and before various tribunals.
Aislinn is a key contact for the firm’s health industry practice, and works closely with Osler’s Health Industry Group, Privacy team and Employment and Labour Department. She advises hospitals and health care organizations on risk management and policy issues, regulatory matters, privacy matters and workplace matters and investigations. She works with physician leaders and clinical teams to navigate complex patient matters and manage risk, including in relation to consent, decision making and matters engaging the Mental Health Act. Aislinn also acts for non-physician regulated health professionals in regulatory and disciplinary matters and proceedings.
Aislinn regularly acts for employers across a range of industries defending wrongful dismissals, human rights matters and other employment-related litigation, and advises on employment relationships and terminations. Aislinn also maintains a commercial litigation practice with expertise in complex contractual disputes, franchise litigation and class actions.
Aislinn led the Osler Women Lawyers Network (OWLN) from 2016-2019. She previously served on the executive of the Health Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association and is a regular duty counsel volunteer with Pro Bono Ontario.
Aislinn is an avid runner and three-time Boston Marathon qualifier.
