Overview

Dan specializes in employment and labour law, shareholder disputes, and related commercial litigation.

Dan is recognized by his peers as a leading lawyer for labour and employment law in Canada by Best Lawyers.

Dan was previously an adjunct professor of labour and employment law at George Brown College for three years. He is an active member of the Labour, Civil Litigation, and Construction Law Sections of the Canadian Bar Association (Ontario) as well as a member of the Canadian Association of Counsel to Employers. Dan speaks extensively on legal issues and frequently writes on legal topics for various publications.

In his spare time, Dan enjoys travelling with his wife and two sons. Currently, Dan is the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Burlington Minor Football Association and also coaches Burlington Stampeders Summer and Fall Rep Teams. Dan has coached football, soccer and hockey teams for over 20 years. Dan has been a part of a number of Provincial Champions including, most recently, as the Head Coach of the 2024 U10 Summer Stampeders.
