Overview

Heather hails from St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, and has lived and worked in Nova Scotia for over a decade.

Heather’s primary areas of practice are personal injury, medical malpractice, insurance defence and subrogation, and commercial litigation (including debt recovery and collections, construction, commercial leasing and business disputes). Heather acts regularly for businesses and individuals. She always considers the broader realities and challenges faced by her clients when developing legal solutions.

Heather has appeared before the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia and the Small Claims Court of Nova Scotia, as well as the New Brunswick Court of Queen’s Bench and the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador. Heather has also been a civil procedure workshop instructor at the Schulich School of Law, Dalhousie University.
