Overview

Julie is a Board Member and Partner in our Halifax office, with a practice focused on Canadian and cross-border corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions transactions.

Julie represents companies in capital markets matters, including public and private securities offerings, stock exchange listings, going-public transactions and mergers and acquisitions. She also works extensively with emerging and high-growth companies on venture capital and private equity financings and mergers and acquisitions and general counsel matters.

In addition to her transactional practice, Julie assists organizations with developing and assessing their governance frameworks and advises on best practices.

Julie is a member of the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (CVCA) Model Documents Working Group.
