Paul J. Brett retired from Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP on March 31, 2022 after 47 years in practice. He was a defence litigator whose work covered civil and transportation disputes in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Ontario, with emphasis on agribusiness and food liability, insurance defence, coverage and regulatory matters, and amateur hockey administration and competition.
