Overview
Miranda is a partner at TDS who practices in the areas of labour and administrative law. A significant portion of Miranda’s practice involves public sector labour relations. In addition, she frequently assists clients with professional and regulatory proceedings, judicial review applications and statutory appeals. She has experience in human rights matters, constitutional law and employment law.
Miranda has appeared before the Manitoba Court of Queen’s Bench and Court of Appeal, as well as the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal. She regularly appears before labour arbitrators and other administrative decision makers within Manitoba.
Miranda was called to the Manitoba Bar in 2016. She clerked for the Honourable Justice Russell Brown of the Supreme Court of Canada for two years from 2016-2018. Miranda returned to practice at Thompson Dorfman Sweatman LLP as an associate in the fall of 2018. Prior to being called to the Bar, Miranda worked as both a summer student and an articling student at TDS.
