Overview

Kristen Worbanski is a partner at Myers LLP, practicing in the areas of labour and administrative law. She assists unions with the interpretation and application of collective agreements, workplace policies, and rights under employment-related legislation, including human rights, workplace safety and health, employment standards, and workplace privacy. Kristen provides representation in grievance arbitration and other proceedings before administrative tribunals such as the Manitoba Labour Board. She has also argued numerous applications for judicial review.

Kristen has appeared before grievance arbitrators, interest arbitrators, the Manitoba Labour Board, professional disciplinary bodies, the Manitoba Court of King’s Bench, the Manitoba Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada. She has also appeared before superior courts in Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Alberta.

Kristen has served as chair of the Manitoba Bar Association Labour and Employment Section Executive and as a member of the Council of the Manitoba Bar Association.
