Overview
Cynthia (Cindy) has been practicing in all areas of Labour and Employment Law since her call to the Bar in 1995. Her practice also includes human rights, privacy, defamation, and accessibility. Cynthia has the designation of AWI-CH (Association of Workplace Investigators Certification Holder) and brings extensive experience in conducting workplace investigations.
Cynthia has built strong, long-lasting relationships with her clients and enjoys working with them to navigate their day-to-day employee related concerns, union relations, and collective bargaining. Cynthia taught the Labour and Employment Relations course at the Asper School of Business for nine semesters and enjoyed working with human resource professionals in the making. She is also a very accomplished speaker in the areas of collective bargaining, basic employment law, workplace investigations, human rights, and accessibility. She is a regular contributor to the Globe and Mail’s Nine to Five column.
