Overview

Brett focuses on advising clients on all matters related to the acquisition, development, re-development, and disposition of property. Brett provides legal advice at all stages of a development, including municipal planning, financing, commercial leasing, and registrations. He has particular experience with Manitoba’s condominium legislation, and especially with the drafting and registration of condominium declarations, by-laws and plans. Brett also advises the boards of condominium corporations post-registration as to proper governance, obligations to unit owners, and rights and remedies regarding enforcement of the declaration, by-laws and rules. Brett has been an instructor for the Manitoba Real Estate Association’s Re-Licensing Program, sat on the Youth Entrepreneurship Committee of Winnipeg’s DowntownBiz, and served on the Board of Directors of Sunnyside Child Care Centre Inc.
