Overview

Winsome is a partner in the firm’s Lending and Secured Transactions Group. She practices primarily in commercial lending and regularly acts for banks, credit unions, life insurance companies, public institutions, mortgage investment corporations and other private lenders on complex real estate matters.

Winsome brings nearly 20 years of diverse legal experience. She started career in Australia where she specialized in commercial real estate, was in-house counsel for public and private companies based in Toronto with operations across North America, and, for the last 13 years has been a solicitor at RBS, where, in addition to lending, she gained extensive experience in business law, including mergers and acquisitions. She also has unique expertise in the advanced education sector.

Outside of her practice, Winsome enjoys keeping active and spending time with her family exploring B.C., especially out on the water.
