Overview

Sean W. Plat is a founder of Plat Simionati in Guelph and has practised exclusively in family law for more than 25 years. Called to the Ontario bar in 1997, he advises on complex property and support issues, marriage and cohabitation agreements, high-conflict parenting and LGBTQ+ family matters. He represents clients throughout Ontario through negotiation, litigation, mediation, arbitration and collaborative practice, and is a trained mediator. He previously practised at Miller Thomson for 16 years and co-founded Plat Simionati in 2022.
