Overview

Mathew D. Brechtel is a partner in Osler's Intellectual Property group in Vancouver. His practice focuses on intellectual property disputes and multi-jurisdictional litigation involving trademarks, copyrights, software, patents and designs. He represents international brands, technology companies and public institutions, obtains and enforces injunctions and other pre-judgment remedies, and acts before the Federal Courts, provincial courts, arbitrations and the Trademarks Opposition Board. He clerked for the Supreme Court of Canada and the British Columbia Court of Appeal.
