Overview

Junaid Subhan is Vice-President, Legal Affairs and Chief Compliance Officer at Sagard, where he oversees legal matters relating to fund formation, fundraising, investment and asset management activities and leads regulatory compliance. He joined Sagard in 2019 and previously served as General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary at CoPower Inc. Before CoPower, he advised on corporate and securities matters at Stikeman Elliott's Toronto office. He holds B.C.L. and LL.B. degrees from McGill University, is called to the bars of Ontario and New York, and also holds a B.Sc. in science and finance from McGill.
